Evergreen Outfitters is located in the beautiful Chautauqua Lake Region of southwestern NY. We have lakes, rivers, and creeks to paddle and an exceptionally fine network of scenic trails. The Overland Trail system runs almost the entire length of Chautauqua County, rolling across a varied landscape of mostly State Forest lands, including the dramatic Chautauqua Gorge. The Overland Trail interconnects with another extensive trail network created by Rails to Trails. Both are perfect for hiking and camping.

If you don't feel like "roughing it" on canoes or kayaks, the Chautauqua Institution is a world-class center for the arts, literature, and philosophy, and it offers a vast menu of sports and recreational activities.

Less than an hour from our store are several of Pennsylvania's great outdoor attractions. In the Warren area, the Allegheny National Forest, the Allegheny River, and Kinzua Dam offer canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and camping adventures. In Erie, Presque Isle State Park has a unique ecosystem to explore by boat or on its biking, walking, and skating trails, which run the length of this narrow peninsula as it reaches out into Lake Erie.
